Hungary Tourist Visa Documents Checklist

Applicants are generally required to submit:

• Valid Indian passport with minimum 6 months validity
• Old passports (if applicable)
• Completed Schengen visa application form
• Recent passport-size photographs as per Schengen specifications
• Cover letter explaining purpose of travel
• Confirmed hotel reservations
• Flight reservation or travel itinerary
• Day-wise travel itinerary
• Travel medical insurance with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000
• Last 6 months personal bank statements
• Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the last 2-3 years
• Salary slips (last 3 months) for employed applicants
• Employment letter / NOC from employer
• Business registration documents for self-employed applicants
• Proof of sufficient funds for travel expenses
• Aadhaar Card and PAN Card copy

Additional documents may be required depending on the applicant's profile.

Processing Time

• Standard Processing Time: Approximately 15 calendar days
• Peak Travel Season: 30–45 days possible
• Complex applications or additional verification cases may take longer

Applicants are advised to apply at least 4–6 weeks before their intended travel date.

Hungary Visa Fees

Embassy Visa Fee

• Adults (12 years and above): EUR 90
• Children (6–11 years): EUR 45
• Children below 6 years: Free

VFS Service Fee

• Approximately INR 2,100–2,200 per application (subject to change)
