Monaco Tourist Visa for Indian Citizens
Planning a luxury holiday to Monaco? Renowned for its glamorous casinos, Formula 1 Grand Prix, luxury yachts, and stunning Mediterranean coastline, Monaco is one of Europe's most prestigious destinations. Although Monaco is not a member of the European Union or the Schengen Agreement, it has no separate immigration border with France. Therefore, Indian passport holders must obtain a valid Schengen Short-Stay (Type C) Visa to enter Monaco. A valid Schengen visa permits travel to Monaco as well as other Schengen countries for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

Documents Checklist
Applicants generally need to submit the following documents:
- Original passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure from the Schengen Area and issued within the last 10 years
- Completed and signed Schengen visa application form
- Two recent passport-size photographs as per Schengen specifications
- Cover letter explaining the purpose of travel
- Confirmed round-trip flight reservation
- Hotel reservation or proof of accommodation in Monaco or nearby France
- Detailed day-wise travel itinerary
- Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, valid throughout the Schengen Area
- Proof of sufficient financial means (latest 3–6 months' bank statements)
- Income Tax Returns (ITR), if applicable
- Employment proof (leave approval letter, salary slips, employment certificate) or business registration documents
- Proof of civil status, where applicable
- Any additional documents requested by the French Consulate or Visa Application Centre
Processing Time
- Standard Processing Time: Approximately 15 calendar days
- Processing may take up to 45 calendar days if additional verification is required.
- Applicants are advised to apply at least 3–4 weeks before their intended travel date.

- Schengen Visa Fee (Adults): EUR 90
- Children (6–11 years): EUR 45
- Children below 6 years: No visa fee
- VFS Global Service Charge: Applicable as per the France Visa Application Centre in India.
