Documents Checklist
Applicants should generally prepare the following documents:
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry
- Completed online Myanmar e-Visa application form
- Recent passport-size colour photograph (taken within the last 3 months)
- Scanned copy of the passport bio-data page
- Confirmed return or onward flight ticket
- Hotel reservation or proof of accommodation
- Detailed day-wise travel itinerary
- Proof of sufficient financial means (latest 3–6 months' bank statements)
- Travel medical insurance (recommended)
- Cover letter explaining the purpose of travel (if requested)
- Any additional documents requested by the Ministry of Immigration and Population, Myanmar
Processing Time
- Standard Processing Time: Approximately 3 working days
- Processing may take longer if additional verification is required.
- Applicants should apply at least 1–2 weeks before their intended travel date.
Visa & VFS Fee
- Visa Fee: USD 50 for a Tourist e-Visa (single entry), as prescribed by the Government of Myanmar.
- VFS Fee: Not applicable for e-Visa applications.
- Visa fees are payable online through the official Myanmar e-Visa portal and are non-refundable.
Travel Advice
- Apply for your Myanmar e-Visa only through the official government portal.
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of entry.
- Carry printed copies of your approved e-Visa, passport, return flight tickets, hotel bookings, and proof of sufficient funds.
- Verify the latest entry requirements and designated international entry points before travelling, as regulations may change.
- Immigration authorities have the final authority to grant or refuse entry and may request additional supporting documents upon arrival.
