Poland Tourist Visa for Indian Citizens
Poland is a beautiful Schengen destination renowned for its medieval cities, historic castles, vibrant culture, picturesque mountains, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Indian passport holders travelling to Poland for tourism must obtain a Schengen Short-Stay (Type C) Visa before departure. A Poland Schengen Visa also allows travel to other Schengen countries during the validity of the visa, subject to the visa conditions.

Poland Tourist Visa Documents Checklist
Applicants generally need the following documents:
- Original passport with at least 3 months validity beyond the intended departure from the Schengen Area
- Passport issued within the last 10 years
- Two recent passport-size photographs (as per Schengen specifications)
- Completed and signed Schengen visa application form
- Cover letter explaining the purpose of travel
- Confirmed return flight reservation
- Hotel reservation or accommodation proof
- Day-wise travel itinerary
- Overseas travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, valid throughout the Schengen Area
- Last 6 months' personal bank statements
- Income Tax Returns (ITR) (if applicable)
- Salary slips for the last 3 months (for employed applicants)
- Employment letter/NOC from employer
- Business registration and company documents (for self-employed applicants)
- Proof of financial means
- Aadhaar Card/PAN Card (supporting documents, if required)
- Additional documents depending on the applicant's profile
Processing Time
- Normal processing time is 15 calendar days after submission.
- During peak travel seasons or where additional verification is required, processing may take up to 45 calendar days.
- Applicants are advised to apply at least 3-4 weeks before travel, and applications can generally be submitted up to 6 months before the intended journey.
Visa & VFS Fee
Embassy Visa Fee (Schengen)
- Adult (12 years & above): EUR 90
- Children (6–11 years): EUR 45
- Children below 6 years: No Visa Fee
VFS Service Charges
- VFS Global service charges are additional and payable at the time of application submission.
- Optional services (courier, SMS, premium lounge, etc.) are charged separately if availed.
Visa fees are payable in Indian Rupees as per the applicable exchange rate on the day of submission and are subject to revision by the Embassy and VFS Global
Travel Advice
- Apply well in advance, especially during summer and holiday seasons.
- Ensure your travel insurance covers all Schengen countries.
- Carry printed copies of hotel bookings, return tickets and travel insurance while travelling.
- Immigration authorities may request proof of sufficient financial means and onward travel.
- Your passport should contain at least two blank visa pages.
- A Poland Schengen Visa allows travel to other Schengen countries, provided Poland is your main destination or first point of entry according to Schengen visa rules.
