Russia Tourist Visa for Indian Citizens

  • Original passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of e-Visa application
  • Digital passport-size photograph
  • Completed online e-Visa application

For Tourist Sticker Visa

  • Original passport with at least 6 months' validity
  • Completed visa application form
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Tourist confirmation/voucher issued by an authorized Russian tour operator or hotel
  • Confirmed return flight reservation
  • Hotel booking or accommodation proof
  • Travel itinerary
  • Proof of sufficient financial means (if requested)
  • Travel medical insurance (strongly recommended and may be required depending on the visa category)
  • Additional documents requested by the Embassy, if applicable

Processing Time

Unified e-Visa

  • Generally processed within 4 calendar days.


Tourist Sticker Visa

  • Standard processing generally takes 4–20 working days, depending on the Embassy/Consulate and the selected processing category.
  • Applicants should apply at least 2–4 weeks before travel.

Visa & Fee

  • Visa Fee: As prescribed by the Government of the Russian Federation at the time of application.
  • Children under the applicable age may receive fee exemptions as per current regulations.

Tourist Sticker Visa

VFS Fee

  • VFS/Authorized Visa Centre service charges apply in addition to the Embassy visa fee where applications are submitted through an authorized visa application centre.
