Spain Tourist Visa for Indian Passport Holders
Planning a trip to Spain? Indian passport holders are required to obtain a Schengen Short-Stay (Type C) Sticker Visa before travelling. Spain is part of the Schengen Area, allowing travellers to visit Spain and other Schengen countries for tourism, family visits, or short business trips for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Applications are submitted through the Embassy of Spain and its authorised Visa Application Centre (BLS International in India).

Visa Documents Checklist
Applicants generally need the following documents:
- Valid passport issued within the last 10 years and valid for at least 3 months beyond return date
- Completed Schengen visa application form
- Two recent passport-size photographs as per Schengen specifications
- Cover letter explaining purpose of travel
- Confirmed round-trip flight reservation
- Hotel booking or invitation letter from host in Spain
- Day-wise travel itinerary
- Travel medical insurance with minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, valid across Schengen
- Last 6 months bank statements showing sufficient funds
- Income Tax Returns (ITR) for last 2–3 years
- Employment proof (leave letter, employment contract) or business documents
- Proof of civil status (if applicable)
- Any additional documents requested by the Embassy or BLS International
Processing Time
- Standard processing time is approximately 15 calendar days
- Processing may extend up to 30–45 calendar days in certain cases
- Applicants are advised to apply at least 4–6 weeks before travel
Visa & VFS Fee
- Visa Type: Schengen Sticker Visa (Type C)
- Visa Fee (Adults): EUR 90
- Children (6–12 years): EUR 45
- Children below 6 years: Free
- BLS Service Fee: Applicable (approximately INR 1,200–2,500 depending on service location)
- Optional premium services (lounge, courier, priority slots) may incur additional charges
