UAE Tourist Visa for Indian Passport Holders
Planning a trip to the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, etc.)? Indian passport holders are required to obtain a Tourist Visa before travel. The UAE offers e-Visa / online visa services through airlines, hotels, and authorized sponsors. There is no visa-on-arrival facility for general Indian passport holders, except for those holding valid visas or residence permits from select countries (as per UAE immigration rules). Visa Documents Checklist
Applicants generally need the following documents:
- Scanned copy of passport (valid for at least 6 months)
- Recent passport-size photograph (white background)
- Confirmed return flight ticket
- Hotel booking or UAE host details
- Completed visa application form
- Proof of sufficient funds (may be requested)
- Sponsor documents (if applicable – airline, hotel, or resident sponsor)
- Additional documents may be requested by UAE immigration authorities

- Normal applications: 2–5 working days
